"TO DO GOD'S WILL - OUR HEARTS DESIRE"   Obituary for George Knotts

George Clark Knotts, of Lamoni IA left this life suddenly and peacefully on February 13, 2018 in his home, leaving behind his wife, Beth, and five adult children.

His adventures covered many areas. Some of his accomplishments were to sculpt the first Jayhawk statue in Kansas, design the agape symbol as well as the OSU symbol.

George lived his faith as a minister for Jesus Christ, giving a lot of his free time for scouting and youth camps. He came to CCM activities from time to time.  Ministering with First People events he was rooted deeply in Native American culture and activites.

A man of many gifts, talents and words to ponder, and a man leaving behind many loved ones and friends, will be missed.

George attended CCM on a number of occasions at Celebration at Graceland and at Saints Grove in Oklahoma.  His testimony of the importance of Jesus motivated his life and prepared many tracts focusing on how to strengthen our faith.
