THE SPIRIT IS PREPARING THE WAY

MARCH 20, 2018

TO ALL WHO ARE ON THE JOURNEY WITH US:

May Blessings abound for you and your loved ones in the new year 2018.!  It is with deepest gratitude that I thank God for the blessings of the year just past. Though filled with both mountain top experiences and the challenges of several valleys I rejoice in the knowledge that at all points the Spirit of our God went before us, preparing the way. I am reminded of the golden scriptural nugget that reminds us;

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword…NO, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loves us. “

Divine instruction to be joyful in all things, reminds us that while we keep our focus on the Lord and his goodness, we can walk on, through both sunny and stormy days, secure in his saving grace and infinite love. In the same way that he bid Peter to come to him on the water in the middle of the storm, he invites us to step out in faith into the opportunities of 2018 to be his hands, reaching out in ministry, and his feet, going to those in need.  Tonight, as the freezing rain, sleet and snow makes it third unusual appearance this winter, into south Texas, my heart is warmed by the living testimonies of 2017 by so many of you. I also recall the power of testimonies of some who have recently “graduated” into the arms of our loving Savior. In the power of that great cloud of witness, of our Lord's passion for every one of his children, I pray the endowment of his Holy Spirit. May it flow into your every opportunity in this new year to reflect his Divine Love in word and deed.

Blessings and a joy filled new year to all.
