A OUIJA BOARD IS NOT HOLY

Some number of years ago, I invited my sister (who was in college) and her best friend to visit for a few weeks one summer. They decided that they wanted to do something for me, and proceeded to walk down to the Dime Store on Main Street, to see what they had. They came back with a Ouija Board.

I was somewhat uneasy because of stories that I had heard about them, but the girls proceeded to get it out and start “playing” with it. It was not long before I was hearing some very interesting comments, like, “No one knew the answer to that, how did it know?” and “No, I'm not making it move, it is moving by itself”.

They were becoming uneasy as well. They decided that I should ask it something that I didn't know the answer to so I asked it, “Will Larry (my husband) be able to adopt Robin (my daughter from a previous marriage. The answer came back, “Yes”. So, I asked, “When will this be? What age will she be?” and the answer came back, “14-15”, back and forth between the two ages. (And to answer your question, yes, he did adopt her when she was between 14 and 15 years old.)

The girls were getting spooked about this time, and so they asked this question, “Should we be doing this with you?” The answer came slowly, with hesitation, but very distinctly, “No.” The girls asked immediately, “Why not?” And without hesitation, it immediately said, “Because both are holy”.

The box was packed back up and the girls walked back to the store and exchanged it for another game. Ouija Boards are not holy. They are a tool to open the door to the occult.
