PROTECTED BY GOD

On January 27, 2022 I was preparing to leave for a vacation trip to visit with two of my very special friends in California for 11 glorious days. I was so excited; I was all packed and getting ready to load everything in the car. I had never been on a trip that long by myself so I was concerned about leaving my house unprotected. So, before I did anything else, I went through each room casting out any unwanted spirits that might lurking around and praying that God would protect and keep my home safe. Then I loaded the car and left not thinking about it anymore. I was on my way to my son Marty's home in Vancouver, Washington from my home in Clatskanie, Oregon to catch a ride to the airport.

After having a wonderful time in sunny California, I returned home on February 8, 2022. Marty was there to pick me up at the airport and we stopped on the way home to have lunch. While we were eating, Marty told me he wanted to tell me something but he didn't want to tell me in front of Karey (his wife). I said OK and he looked at Karey and asked her if she wanted to hear it and of course she said yes, so he continued, telling me that they had gone to my house the first weekend I was gone, which I already knew, for a getaway. He said he was standing in the living room near the doorway of my bedroom talking to Karey. While he was talking, he caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of his eye. He said it was a being of some kind, it came up to him like it was checking him out and when he turned his head to look at it, it disappeared. He said it wasn't scary or anything just very peaceful. Without even thinking about it, I told him it was my guardian Angel that I had asked to protect my house while I was gone. When I told them who it was, they were just sitting there with their mouths open. Marty hadn't told Karey because he was afraid, she would be scared and want to leave.

I thought it was so cool that God had wanted me to know that He had answered my prayer through the eyes of my son, who had not set foot in a church in I don't even know how long? But I am hoping and praying that this will be an experience that he will long remember. Thank you, Father for always knowing exactly the right thing to do.
