LET'S CALL IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD   by Marilyn Slauter

Review of our CCM summer class at Saints Grove in Oklahoma.

We cannot share all that happened; guess you had to be there but here are some high points:

It's time to call in the Kingdom of God.  We are living in Kingdom time.  When we choose Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, He steps into us and is living within us.  Out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living water.

“For I can of mine own self do nothing; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father.”    John 3:31 What do we see the Father doing?

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12 Put on your full armor and let's go to battle.

It is time to take the Kingdom of Heaven and bring it to the earth by force. Jesus has asked us to do even greater works that He did upon the earth.

I asked, Are we guilty of signs?  My flagship scripture for the past few years is and has been Mark 16: 14-21. This is not just for priesthood but a mandate for ALL believers.

Mark 16:14 And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature…16 And these signs shall follow them that believe; 17 In My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues (words of encouragement); 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; 19 They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 20 So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 21 And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the Word with signs following. Amen.

Mormon 4:87

Doctrine and Covenants 83:10c-11f

Helaman 5:83  And the angel said unto me that many shall see greater things than these, to the intent that they might believe that these signs and these wonders should come to pass, upon all the face of this land; to the intent that there should be no cause for unbelief among the children of men;

When all believers respond to this scripture then that will free priesthood to do what they are commanded to do. (See priesthood responsibilities in the D&C).

Let's give Jesus all He died for on the cross.

Let's look again at our Church History and the testimonies of the early saints which are full of the gifts of the Spirit.  Let's claim the promises of the Word of God and take the Kingdom by force.

In our class we looked at tools which could help us to implement God's mandate to Go ye into all the world…

Stop listening to the lies of Satan that tell us we are not capable of doing what the Lord has commanded us to do?  One activity that would help all of us to do frequently:  Write down lies the devil has told you lately such as “I'm not good enough, I don't know my Scriptures, Why would God use me?  God only uses Priesthood.”

Combat these lies by writing down and believing the opposite of those lies.  “I am a Covenant, Blood Bought Child of the Most High God, I write the Scriptures in my heart for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, I am a Born-Again Believer and I stand on the promises of the Word of God.” Stop living inside of the guard rails of life.   Realize that Faith is RISK!

We are to covet the best gifts. It is our responsibility to be prophetic people. Paul tells us that ALL may prophesy.  Prophesy the love of God into the lives of those we meet.  Bring encouragement and hope.    1 Corinthians 14:31   For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

Activating the Gifts of the Spirit in our lives includes daily spending time with the Lord and listening to the Spirit that dwells within us.  Remember that our place of harvest is OUTSIDE the doors of our church.  Listen and be ready for ministry at a moment's notice.

Take advantage of angel ministry.  Angels do the work of the covenant for us.  Three primary functions of Angel Ministry.  1. Psalm 148:2, 5 Praise and worship unto God.  2. Hebrews 1:7, 14 To be Ministering spirits, flames of fire to render service to believers.  3. Psalm 103:20-21 Angels excel in strength, obey the voice of God, and perform God's word.

Five Foundational Premises Regarding God, Men, Prayer & Angels    James Goll

1.     We are co-workers with Christ.  God's resources are released by man's invitation through intercession. God hears and answers prayers.  Prayer and intercession help determine the destiny of individuals and the direction of nations.

2.     There is an innumerable company of angels available. Heaven's army of angelic hosts is waiting for their next assignment and are ready to be dispatched (unemployed angels).

Moroni 7:24 Wherefore, by the ministering of angels, and by every word which proceeds forth out of the mouth of God, men began to exercise faith in Christ; and thus, by faith, they did lay hold upon every good thing; and thus, it was until the coming of Christ.

3.     Angels are involved in both the spiritual and practical affairs of mankind.

4.     Angels are released from God's throne in Heaven into the affairs of man. They are involved in both the spiritual and in everyday normal activities of man.

5.     Angels are used to deliver God's answers to man's prayers.  Angels are especially utilized and involved in delivering the answers to our prayers from the throne of God.

Call God's Angelic Army into ACTION.

Ask ourselves every day, “Lord, what can I do today for You that I couldn't do yesterday?” Let's use all that God has provided for us in this battle for the Kingdom.
